Injuries Holding You Back?

Are you someone who is dealing with the unfortunate frustrations that come with being injured? Do you feel you haven’t been able to reach your full potential due to a history of various injuries?

Let’s work through this together.

Sports have their own unique demand in regards to what is needed to step back on to the field. A greater attention to detail and a higher understanding of those demands is key to help returning to your absolute best.

My Approach To Helping You

When working with athletes, I want to get the full picture. Getting someone to their highest level of performance goes beyond watching them do simple slow movements and telling them if they did it right or wrong. With both in-person and remote options, we will discuss what your injury history is, what your weekly training and competitive schedule looks like, where you are at from an athletic development standpoint, nutrition, and much more. Through this ongoing collaboration, we will take your health and performance to a new level.

  • "I rehabbed with Terry Phillips for about 8 months and he is by far the best PT I’ve ever worked with. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the field and has worked with some of MLBs biggest names. More importantly, he genuinely cared about me as a person and sincerely cared about seeing my injuries improve to get me back on the field and back to where I could live pain free. Before working with Terry I was stuck in a loop of rehab and then getting the same injury a few months later. After working with him I never got another injury during my time playing college baseball and am now able to work a very active and strenuous job without any issues at all. Very highly recommend working with Terry Phillips!!"

  • "As an athlete growing up, I experienced countless injuries that required countless trips to physical therapy. I often felt as though I was following a "cookie-cutter" plan, indistinguishable from those of a 12-year-old gymnast or a 45-year-old weekend warrior. That changed when I met Terry. His approach to my rehabilitation was simple yet remarkably personalized, unlike anything I had encountered in PT before. Terry's extensive knowledge of the latest scientific studies is evident in the results that I have achieved. While I hope to avoid physical therapy in the future, if the need arises, Terry will be the first person I call."

  • "Terry has played an essential role in my professional baseball career. Over the years he has both helped me perform through the typical wear and tear of long baseball seasons and has guided the significant rehab journeys following Tommy John surgery and thoracic outlet surgery. His breadth of knowledge and experience working with high level athletes are unmatched. Terry is a master of preparing athletes for the stresses that they'll be subjected to within their sport, and I recommend him to anyone. "

  • "I have worked with Terry for several years now both as a patient and a colleage. Terry brings a no nonsense approach to his training and genuinely cares about helping you. Having worked with a wide variety of athletes from little league to Cy Young and MVP winners, you know you can trust his expertise."

Connor Rooney - Chicago Cubs MILB Strength Coach

  • "I have been in the field for just under 10 years. In that time, I have been lucky to work with several great Physical Therapists. Terry has been head and shoulders above the rest with his ability to understand the demands of sport and the allostatic load of both skill and strength training. Using this understanding, he is able to write plans that will help an athlete both in the moment and long term, allowing athletes to not only return to competition, but return at a higher level than they were before seeing him."

Steffen Simmons - Chicago Cubs MILB Strength Coach

  • "Terry's knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to baseball and the demands of the sport are second to none. He has an unbelievable combination of competence and application that allows players to easily understand how and why they are doing what they're doing. He knows how to push athletes intelligently to a level that not only gets them back healthy but gets them performing at a level above and beyond what they were prior to injury. I could not recommend him enough whether you are injured or just looking to stay performing at a high level on the field. "

Kyle Rogers - New York Mets Coordinator of Pitching and Peformance Integration
